About David McKnight
David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management. David has experience in running a business, as he handled all of Human Resources for a small family-owned business for over a decade; this company had 250 employees and over $30,000,000 in annual sales, which provided the hands-on experience David wanted in order to broaden his perspective in business.
David's expertise is establishing and running the following departments:
1) accounts payable, 2) accounts receivable, 3) human resources, 4) job costing, & 5) inventory control gives him a business man's perspective that helps his current clients determine what benefit plans to chose both from a cost standpoint and from an employer/employee standpoint.
This valuable experience translates into a consultant that knows the day to day difficulties that business owners deal with and when consulting with businesses David uses this experience to recommend cost effective benefit packages to clients.
David is a Certified Financial Planner licensee or CFP®. The CFP® designation is obtained by not only studying and learning the educational requirements of a financial planner, but also meeting the experience requirements. Once the CFP® designation is obtained, CFP® designees must "maintain" their designation with additional education requirements, including at least 30 hours of required continuing education courses annually.
In addition to having the above designations, David is an Investment Advisor Representative, a licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent, and had a Property & Casualty Insurance license for over 10 years.
